I've seen a few announcements mentioning support for Android Wear 2.0 complications, but I can't find any documentation on how I'd go about adding them to a watch face. Could anyone point me in the right direction?
The ones that were developed by now are only available to Premium Designers. But as one I can tell you, they don't give you any more options, just some easier to use solutions.
Aside from the fact that they allow users to customize directly, the AW2.0 complications can provide access to information that's otherwise not exposed directly to the watch face. For me, the big example is a count of unread notifications.
Correction: they WILL allow users to do that.Right now we have access to those (as an image, short and long text):-Whether Condition-Temperature-wifi level-Battery level
Sounds like they're filtering the AW2.0 complications through their own layer, rather than just implementing them directly. That kind of defeats the purpose of the API, doesn't it? Anyway, I'll find another option. Thanks for the info.
