Any further update on this? I’ve tried a new face but the battery draw is the same. I also noticed that it doesn’t always go to dim mode properly, occasionally sticking on the full face rather than the dim face, which probably won’t help with battery draw.
mobvoi ticwatch E here, I see about 15% battery drain some times, on watchmaster I only get about 2.6% on more complex faces

it’s embarrassing but I somehow had enable animations and the drain was from that, I will measure tomorrow with them off
ok the actual drain when the face uses white dim mode with only text is 6% per hour, it’s kinda high compared to other apps, I even set weather update to 12 hours, animation off, all other settings to stock
