I have on the back-burner a watchface with 2 masts and nautical signal flags being run up and down - maybe this might intrigue you

Ohhhhh . Yum that sounds like Fun @BIELITZ . We will need Peter to help keep the flags on a curved path and appropriate angle to make them look right . Sadly the whole thing would be easier on WFS , but just a few more layers on Facer . Are you talking about just the 0 to 9 numerals and not " England Expects Every Man to do his Duty " .

Yes just the numbers 0-9 + 3 repeaters making 13 flags (pennants) . I ended up thinking of having a single mast as there is not much real estate available and running up and down 4 flags on each yardarm ( if thats what they are called) 4 for time and 4 for date. Using 2 masts made the flags too small.
I reused that watchface so it doesnt exist anymore (it was some time ago - before my semaphore watchface) - it was rubbish anyway!
You seem to be of the nautical type and I worked offshore as a safety officer for 8 years on a semi submersible rig , so between us we shoud come up with something decent that perhaps only you, I and perhaps Peter will be interested in

Yes Sounds like Fun . The ropes on the Yard arm could be Taught in the first place for tests . I am thinking show the Time then the Date . We will need a Battery power indicator but that can be abstract .
I am not Nautical but a lot of our Language comes from the Wooden Navy days . I belive that the Day Change was at 12 am and time was devided into 3 Eight Hour Watches Hence the Name I belive . But with these things we have to suspend disbelief . I am sad you lost your Semephor Face . We have to try hang on to these things . I have a few Faces tha have 3 Syncs . I can just imagine a user having a Jolly ggod laugh over them . If it gave one person some pleasure for a few minutes the Job has been done . I have no illusion that these Educational Faces are worn for very long at all . I am very stuck on the Face I made for myself and that comes back on my watch quite soon after testeng another Makers Work . As with a lot of things it is the making Process that is the good bit . I have seen many Actors and Film makers say the don’t enjoy watching what what what they made it is more about the making . Any way have you got some pennants ?
