is there a way to display as picture the google map attached to location ?
like you could have on a GPS ?

I wonder if you could calculate the time zone though and then draw a line on a world map of the broad area it fell in to?

I had hoped we could get some more info from the weather api that would help locate you as well.

You kind of can:

But there is a catch: daylight savings time, or winter/summer time.
There is no way to calculate those so it can be moved by 1 hour in some cases.
