What would be great is a process where should a watch face get published by a user and flagged as Copyright infringement issue or Marvin decide 10 months after publish that a watchface is now flagged as such, that the watch face is returned to Draft Status and hidden from all other users (or prevent syncing by users). It should not appear in any charts or search results until the watch passes the checks when next published. As per Tom, we have requested such features before… but no harm in reminding Facer Support for some re-consideration. This would mean you no longer need to duplicate to publish, and that would save facer some valuable storage space as I reckon 99% of creators are likely duplicating faces to protect their work being lost.

This is economics and perhaps the best incentive to get Facer to do something about the problem.

I found Personaly another good reason for Duplicating your draft Before Publication . I used Publications a couple of times a s Templates for another publication and I found some of the Meta data did not update . The name of the Face did not update in some places . I always think a fresh start is best . In the days of PRO . I had a good few Template Faces that were basicaly so I did not have to carry on with the Subscription to make Private Faces .

Imagine the storage they’d save if everyone did NOT have to duplicate their watch faces before publishing.
