Will you please add WOW to the list on our WiKi on banned words .
Please dont think I was critising you personally - that was not my intention if that is what you thought. I was just describing how things work at least in my understanding. Copyright is a difficult thing at the best of times. I was sure you checked before you published and before you republished. Changing a setting probably didnāt trigger a Copyright takedown but rather the act of republishing did. There must have been some reason for the takedown. Many here are frustrated with the lack of feedback when a face is taken down - how are we supposed to learn if the reasons are secret? I also agree with many here that Marvins review should happen before publishing, indeed, should prevent publishing until resolved.
As i said in a previous post i am impressed by your style - and technical skills
So as everyone has said, they update their list of banned words, brands, etc and they donāt just put out a press release and let us know. Thatās why when you update, or in BSharps case, hit a milestone, it triggers the system to take another look at your work and run it through its filters.
Pretty sure the way the system is designed is to auto flag things that MIGHT be an issue (because they triggered the auto flag system) and auto send you an email about it and pull it in case itās an actual infringement. If you appeal the decision, they will have a person to look at it and then decide what has to be removed for it to be reinstated. Then they give it back to you to fix.
As for your suggestion to have the system let us know we are in violation BEFORE we send it to publish, Iāve already suggested that to them.
So she said
My friend, she was not telling you when to be anything or how to behave, she simply said that she would āthinkā you (or anyone) would be happy (proud) to be featured/published.
She wasnāt attacking you or your integrity. And everyone here accepts and appreciates everyones opinion whether youre in it for the money or just for fun.
@pbervoets It appears that you misinterpreted my comment. I was not telling you when to be proud, nor was I telling you how to behave. What I can relate to is when I joined Facer to simply publish free designs because it was fun and gave me a break from my daily routine. It was my escape to clear my head for a while. I was absolutely proud when Facer used one of my free designs in a feature. That was an incentive to keep designing free watch faces and to stay active in the community.
