I wanted to make a new watch face that used some components of a previous face. I used the copy option for the original face then edited that.
The preview image of the new watch originally showed that watch face. Now, the face of the original watch is being displayed. I tried re-saving the project. I tried renaming and saving the project, but the old artwork continues to be displayed.
Figured it wasn’t just me. Good to know others have seen it so maybe it will be fixed.
I did try the different browser and clearing cache things, but it didn’t help as you say.
Couldn’t publish these particular faces since they had copyright content. Famous comic/cartoon characters. Strictly for personal use of course, I had no intention of publishing them.
I did fall foul of the publishing with my most recent watch face. It probably would have passed except I used the word Sei** ( just in case they police this area you understand ) in the description area. We’ll see if they let me edit out the brand name ( which does not appear on the face ) or at least put it back in my Drafts area.
Dont use the S word any where . I think Imade a 3IEKO face . Do not clone a publication if you want to show a different preview. You can clone / Duplicate a Draft and work it to a new face and it will show fine . Marvin is very selective in what he remembers . I gave myself a second Profile for square watches . I am lucky to have a Good ( second user ) Oppo . However when I sync a face from either Profile / Account it ends up on both the OPPO and SAMSUNG . So back there in LA Standing the Input Port to the Server is Marvin Having a Little Giggle . I have BRAVE for my SquWatch Profile so it seems they chat with Google as well .
It seems like It is best to leave republishing a Strike for a few days . I had one the other day I am leaving it a Week
If it bothers you too much and you only have one version you can re-duplicate and delete the old now and then, or before a day off, as long as you are ok with the extra effort and risk.
