I think the 7 ULTRA is a special ( TEST ) case. The ones that had WOS 6 Out of The Box don’t seem to have so many issues . I have been pushing the button to see if I can get an update on my GW7 . I think I will stop doing that . Go make some faces for the Oppo .
As discussed in the other topic around here, in the future, if WFF becomes the only option someday, that description will need to be omitted. I’ve already done too much work on the conversion to go back and have to do all that.

It won’t ever need to be omitted regardless. A ton of features are stripped and gone forever from this version of that face in order to work with WFF. If WFF ever restores the functionality that we’re accustomed to I’ll just convert the other existing version of this face that already has that stuff built in. This one with the disclaimer will remain dumbed down or deleted.

exactly, it’s stupid that an “upgrade” in hardware necessitates such a massive downgrade in the watch face.

yeah, and if all these limitations imposed by google are for battery life… The review from Mr Mobile says he still only gets 1 day of charge (with or without Facer). And honestly, 1 day is FINE. Give me a fully functioning watch face and I’ll happily charge my watch every day.

I can get 2 days on my Watch8, but I disable a lot of notifications. I’m glad that my women followers do not like to fiddle with their watch faces. They like the option to change colors, but don’t really use the other bells and whistles. Oh, and speaking of battery, that error must be a bug. I cannot imagine that people are expected to go into their settings during the day to check their battery status. Both battery and leading zero in the date are working on my watch.

They are working on my Watch8. Maybe the creator used some odd coding in the ones that are not working. At least daily I have people tell me that my design is missing health data, etc. Strangely everything shows up after a reboot. Watches are computers. Updates take a reboot in order to get all components working together.

I think Out The Box WWF watches are better . The updated 7 Ultra seem to be having more problems .
Yes, OEM-installed new OS are aways better. Same with PC’s. That’s why I ordered a new watch and phone for this super-huge project. I need to be able to test premium designs before I submit them to be published. I knew I would not have the patience to deal with changes coming at me from all directions.

I had to reinstall Facer on my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. I’m still running Wear OS 5. The issue I’m seeing is when I long press on the watch face to bring up the face selections Facer isn’t available. Would you say this is a WFF compatibility issue? Also, when I open the companion app on my watch it shows a face I created and tried to sync to my watch and it states “Current Watchface” then the watchface with “Inactive” below it. What am I missing?

Sadly to sort these things out People are resetting thier watches . I would leave it for a bit . There is so much stuff getting changed . As many have said try be a bit more Patient .
GW6 running WOS5 is not WFF compatible .
The face you are trying to run mightvhave been converted for WFF . Try a Basic GW face . I think @mrantisocialguy has posted one .

@russellcresser Thanks for the info. The face I’m trying to put on my watch is one of my own which, I thought, is pretty basic. I’ll try one of my others to see if I can get it to work.
Just tried a very simple one. It did the same thing. I guess I’ll have to wait for the update. For now, I’ll use WFS.

I posted a non WFF face . it is one of the templates . If you look at my profile . Just click on the Profile Icon above then the Facer Profile link . You can post the link to your face here and we can look at it .
@russellcresser I tried what you said but it still didn’t show up in my watch faces. I’ll try again once I get the update to the OS.

So you got the NON WFF face on your watch . That is the test intended . You will not get a Face that is intended for all the others and including WFF at the moment . When you do get the WOS6 Update it may still be a problem the Web update for 7Ultra still has Bugs . The out the box one doe as well but there is not a lot of feedback about those ( GW8 )
@russellcresser The same thing happens with the test one as it did with my own. When opening Facer on my watch under Current Watchface it shows NOT WFF #TEST# and under that “Inactive”.

OH I see I am sorry . Your Profile gives the impressoon it is on your Watch OK . There is noting on there that has any issues in WFF .
think the only thing we can do is wait a bit . By all accounts the Battery Data issue is nothing but a false report on Ctretor . I am sure all this will be resolved sooon .
