Yes, we are! And don’t ask me how many amateur ham radios I have or the number of antennas I have above my house. Let’s just say it’s more than 2 for both counts…
Indeed I did. I just finished a set of Chess pieces.
Let us see Please .
The tolerance between the inner and outer parts is pretty tight, but once they get used to each other the pieces go together and come apart quite easily.
Wow, so pretty.
Im afraid the fancy look would distract me and could not focus on serious play.
My Word . Just simple then . Big ones about 50mm tall ? Which CAD do you use ?
Ah Ha . Grasshopper . I am using an old version of Rhino ( 5 ) . I have to draw like I am on a drawing board or it does not happen .
Get with the program - McNeel gives a free 90 day license for anyone who registers with them. You can use a fake email address on day 89 as often as you like.
Excuse the intrusion, guys. I can see that you are enjoying this discussion. However, if this is your site, Malwarebytes finds a problem. You can straighten it out with them by filing a False Positive report.
That is my site. I don’t use MalwareBytes so had no idea they were flagging it. I’ll see if I can notify them of the false positive. Thanks for the heads up.
You’re welcome.
Just to mention it: I REALLY am the son of a preacher man My father was a theologist on the way to theology stardom, whatever that means (I’m not a believer, sorry), and became a catholic priest, Then he met my mother (a painter and musician) while semi-professionally ballroom dancing (what the …), they fell in love, married. Vatican said “You ain’t no priest anymore, boyo”, my father wrote some theological tractate, citing theological sources the Vatican never heard of, so he still was allowed to hold a mass, only without wearing the clerical collar (which means, he never had sexual intercourse, which, with me on the way as first of 3 sons, was obsolete). He quit the scene.
Just to mention it. Aaaaaaand
I was kind of quite talented at piano playing (started at 5), parents planned for me being a concert pianist, but then I grew up, and girls and boys and all that erotic shades of life, so I became a funk keyboarder. I REALLY wanted to be a Bass player, maybe a guitarist, too, but I’m left-handed, and bugger all who don’t produce a left-handed model of the instrument I want. So I decided to build my own left-handed instruments. I wanted to study classical music, but then I wanted to study computer science, but then I wanted to become a carpenter, because I love working with wood, but then I wanted to become a writer, but then I realized that means sometimes interviewing unpleasant suits, so became a proofreader. In between I worked in construction, drove DHL vans, sold credit insurance, built CMSs, produced some albums, fathered children, took almost every drug available, managed an Osteria, was a waiter, forgot that Oswald Oberhuber (don’t know if anyone outside of Europe knows him) was my godfather, buried my parents, loved and cried for many cats, generally lived as if there’s no tomorrow (which is debatable).
Somewhere along the way I married the best of all women, so I’m probably the most lucky guy on earth.
There ain’t no 10 seconds to pass without me looking at something and thinking about how I would improve it if I could improve it. Which is nad for my blood pressure, but there’s Lisinopril (5mg)
What I want to say, is: I’m a relentless perfectionist - but I’m pretty apt in the compromise sector. After all I believe in a life after death - and before birth
Glad you are Here . I Think a lot of us are a bit Fizzy on the inside . What I like here is the Fun side is respected . Serious as well but for me Fun First .
I’m going to submit a ticket requesting that the old Lounge (or a new lounge) be added. Considering the downside of the other social channels, I really think y’all are a better fit for a lounge here. Not that my suggestions zoom to priority, because that may be based on the numbers, but I can try.
I miss doing 3D prints. Loved it! Just couldn’t afford the electric bill from running it.
There is a lounge in place: community.facer.io/t/welcome-to-the-lounge/
But not sure you mean that one…
Yeah . Longe works it is just a bit Quiet .
wife and me been dreaming about 3D printing for years now - and following the development a bit through the magazines we proofread. But the models that really do useable results are a bit heavy on our narrow household budget Can’t even imagine a real professional printer. But it certainly would see a bit of use
