What is the difference between cover and avatar on facer?

The avatar is the circle cropped image to the left, and the cover is what fills the background.

What is the desired size of cover’s image?

Is the choose a cover option still available? I’ve looked everywhere and cant find it. I was able to change it on the community profile but not on my main profile. I’m trying to find info about it in the forum but everything I found leads me to believe the “choose a cover” button has been removed.
It is currently only reserved to partners, but happy to share that it will soon roll out to all designers!
