Degree symbol in Samsung S3 Frontier

I’ve been trying to get the degree symbol ( ˚ ) on my watch face. It shows correctly in the Creator, but when I sync to my watch, it shows É instead. Any help on this how to get the degree symbol to show correctly? I’m using a Macintosh and Option + k gets me the degree symbol.

I also got the same error when using mac facer creator. I fixed it by just copy pasting the degree symbol by searching it on google. That somehow fixed the issue.
