Face showing extra elements

Hey everyone, I’m running into a bug that I don’t really have the means to troubleshoot. I made a watchface, Miami Pulse, that I’ve been using for quite a while now. Just recently, it started showing an extra time element and date element on the lit screen, and I can’t figure out why.

There’s a side by side of the preview and a blurry photo of it actually on the watch. You can see that there is a smaller, offset duplicate of the digital clock, and a smaller, offset black version of the date. I’ve tried changing faces, resyncing, and I went back into the editor, made changes, and resynced the updated version. Still have the duplicates. I’m out of ideas, and I don’t have any other watches to test it on. Could someone else sync it and see if they have the same issue?

Hi @ryanweaselking! The Ticwatch E/S have an issue with glow/outline effects on text and often doesn’t look quite right. We’re working on fixing that ASAP but I suspect this is what’s causing what you are seeing.

Thanks for the response! That’s unfortunate, but I’m glad that means it still works for non-Ticwatch users. I’ll disable the glow effects for myself and leave the published version as is.

On a side note. I love this design! Really well done!

Thank you! I’m proud of it. It’s the first design I was really inspired to finish and polish all the way, and I like it so much I haven’t made any others lol.

No problem. I don’t blame you. If you have a design you like then why change it. I am attached to one of my original digital design schemes too.
