Hi everybody!

We just released Facer 2.0.1 which should roll out to Google Play within a couple hours.

New in 2.0.1

  • Added Sort by Recent in Explore section
  • Fixes a crash on Android Wear 6.0.1 with Storage permission disabled
  • Removed requirement for Contacts permission
  • Fixed issue where store banners may disappear
  • Fixed an issue where legacy .face files with special characters in title not migrating properly
  • Improved responsiveness of store sections and better loading progress feedback
  • Misc fixes and optimizations

Two very pressing issues that have been documented on this forum and in your subreddit:

  1. Custom fonts do not work.
  2. Expressions and conditionals barely work, except for the very simplest expressions. Often they don’t work at all; sometimes they work in the editor but not on the watch; sometimes they yield no result; sometimes they are treated as string literals. It’s a pretty awful mess at the moment, to be honest.
