What are the rules for data refresh frequency in DIM mode?

What are the rules governing update of values while in DIM mode? I added a second hand but the display is updated only once per minute, on the 0 second, so the second hand moves once to sync it to the 12:00 position then never moves again.

Is that a Facer attribute, Wear OS, or a property of the hardware (Huawei Watch 2)? Anything that I can control?

Hi there!

This is controlled by the hardware and the OS. I believe the vast majority of watches today update their dim mode every minute, but it may change in the future.
