10 step text only battery using default fonts

So, ,There has been a fair bit of battery stuff in the past but some is lost in the mists and there has been lots of talk of font compatibility lately so I thought I would punt a topic out with some text only battery bars that work with the default fonts.

There are 2 versions of the expression.
$#BLN#>0?●:○$$#BLN#>10?●:○$$#BLN#>20?●:○$$#BLN#>30?●:○$$#BLN#>40?●:○$$#BLN#>50?●:○$$#BLN#>60?●:○$$#BLN#>70?●:○$$#BLN#>80?●:○$$#BLN#>90?●:○$
This is standalone and is a single colour that fills hollows. It can be centre justified as it always has 10 characters.

$#BLN#>0?●:$$#BLN#>10?●:$$#BLN#>20?●:$$#BLN#>30?●:$$#BLN#>40?●:$$#BLN#>50?●:$$#BLN#>60?●:$$#BLN#>70?●:$$#BLN#>80?●:$$#BLN#>90?●:$
This is needs to be left justified and I usually use it with a background or top mask.

I changed the bottom one to Cousine as it narrowed the space between the characters used there, though the font didn’t seem to change the spacing of the others.

There are a bunch of characters at the bottom of the character map:

I’ll leave the draft kicking about for inspection and may add to it.

Some of them not in colour with code

Very nice. Kind of deviates from the text only, and default elements theme of the thread though ;-p

I’m getting a bunch of goofy characters. Looks nothing like above

Sorry. I was experimenting earlier but had to rush for an appointment.
OK, Not all of the built in fonts work on the watch so experimentation required. The Fixed width seem to have better luck.
I can’t find a built in one for row 2 that works on the watch (GW6) but I have another face (Binary V3) using those characters and the VictorMono font and that works fine.

So, not as clear cut as I thought but the bulk of them do work with non custom fonts.

I meant in the editor I see the characters just not on my watch. But then again, I’m viewing this on my GW3

Damn. Sometimes I wish I still had my old Fossil for legacy testing.

Over letter typen gesproken. Heb al paar dingen gezien waar je ze kunt downloaden , maar dan ! Hoe krijg je die op wijzerplaat of ingevoegd ? Bedankt alvast

You would have to download them first and store in some folder on your PC.
Then when editing watch face, pick any text field and select font or add your downloaded one like this:
CustomFont

@petruuccios Excellent tutorial - a picture paints a thousand words.

I use Windows - when i install a downloaded font it goes into into the Windows font folder. I copy the font from that folder into my ‘Facer font folder’ which is a folder I made on my PC’s C drive. I can then select the font and use it as a custom font on my watchfaces. On occasions i have found that Windows won’t let me copy a font - just right click and open in a new window and follow @petruuccios 's tutorial above

Yeah. I wanted to start with ones confirmed to work with the default creator fonts but, possibilities abound.
