Good News . I see it shows that aab files could be imported . So I wonder if that means they could be made on Watch Face Studio . When will we be able to start working on the New Creator ?

I notice that some watches are not available to be synced with the new Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. Is there anything in Creator which tells you which elements/tags are not supported for WFF?
Answer YES…CLICK THE “i” left of publish button…

Updated as i find new issues/workarounds

Elements with formulas in Text, X or Y do not seem to be supported.
AOD ambient settings not working. Workaround. Copy the element and set the AOD colour in Active mode, but hidden and make element visible in AOD. Separate elements for AOD required.
Weather tags force capitalisation or lowercase not working.

A little bit buggy BUT alot has been accomplished and I’m hopeful issues will get resolved swiftly. Is there an official page where we can log issues with WFF pushes?

After making lots of accommodating changes, i have managed to get a useable watch face, all except for the phone battery tag PBN not working.

Hmmm, this might be why after I made updates (added elements) to a face I created months ago that it can no longer be synced with my Ultra, but can with my 6 Classic. It worked fine before I made the additions.

The Creator already allows you to sync to your Watch 8. But what is not really clear are the supported elements. In the Publish page, you might see an “i” saying:
Some elements in this watch face may not work properly on this platform.
NOTE: Consider disabling this option if the watch face does not function as expected
I think for now, its going to be a case of create slowly with less tags and regular pushing of your draft watch face to your watch to verify your elements are working correctly. Or, as you point out… develop in WFS, and import it into Facer. I saw an Import option available.

Hi Jason . Yes thanks . I had a tiny chance to look at Creator ( Beta ) . Up near the Save button is a indicator about the Beta Flags. I am building a test with as many as I can find . Our friend MAG has got some work arounds already. I feel very sad that they have dumped all the Moon Phase Stuff . We will have to go bsck to the DNOW formula the Giants gave Us . Just as we find the workarounds they will change it again . The Goal posts are moving . Not surprising really .

@russellcresser, I was able to import an AAB file from WFS. It will only sync with my Ultra, and not my 6 Classic, but it works, 100%. This is a game changer for us WFS folks!!!

Same password, it seems to not care about the password, it (Facer) didn’t even ask.

Oh, and package name doesn’t seem to matter either.

You have to be invited to be a partner on Facer to get paid by them .

I guess this is a dead end then. Dang, I really got excited there for a second, a complete second. They’d do better just taking a cut (25% would even be acceptable to me), than me not using their service at all.

I probably won’t publish anything else. Super disappointing to say the least.

Figures, I paid for Pro here to be able add photos and videos. I have to pay them for the pleasure of giving away my watch faces…LOL

I have an average of 150 hours into each face. I spend weeks, sometimes months testing, and adjusting things before even thinking about publishing.

Maybe things will change with WearOS 6’s arrival. Fingers crossed!!!

So far, I’m not too crazy about all these updates from Facer. I’m seeing all my faces all say

I agree with you, I can no longer save my new faces or mutations on my tablets. I regularly use other graphically intensive websites and online apps in Safari without any issues, but since the latest update, Facer no longer works on my tablets.

This is from another one of my faces. A whole lot of code not being supported? Maybe Facer needed to fix all the problems before going live with all the updates!?

And #DWE# on a great majority of mine: they rely on it for the transition out of AOD. Then there’s the moon phase. I already had from general disappointments before, but now that the functionality of a great majority of my faces is hindered it’s
