Animated Weather gif

is there a way to use a animated gif for each weather condition. Thank you for looking at this message

Sure.
I have not created something like that, but I can imagine how it can be done.

I would use a sequence for each weather condition and depending on the value of #WCCI# move it into position, either X or Y value. Opacity may not always work for sequences.

I’ve opened it for inspection so you can see how it’s made.

Don’t forget to resize gifs.

100kb - 500kb per gif work the best.

I would say, if not obvious from the example it is worth making the animation as minimal as possible. Maybe 2-4 frames tops.
You don’t need a lot. It will eat your live screen battery, but if it is only there, not AOD (DIM), have at it…

Honestly, I didn’t notice any difference in battery life with gifs and without gifs.

In AOD/DIM mode gifs do not work anyway, cannot be used.

Ive done this few times but not with gifs. Easy way is to create separate icons for each condition and then move/spin/float each in an independent way. Ill often need two layers per condition.
