AOD brightness and some findings

I wanted to add nore but this defect is blocking me.

OK, until recent updates to WearOs 5 on my watch it would quickly brighten the screen when in AOD mode whe I bought it into the light and vice versa.
No more.

Has anyone else found this and is it Facer only?

Hmm this sounds more like a gesture detection or watch setting rather than a Facer setting per se?

Aye. Almost certainly the watch behaviour but seemingly something I have a small level of control over by using a lot more off pixels on AOD face

Not working on a Facer face in AOD . I did wonder . I think Facer is fixed quite bright . That is on the GW5 Pro .

I’m on a GW6 as well.
I always use AOD, hence me preferring the most energy efficient face for it. I want time/date at a glance without physical interaction.

Observationally, I still have nothing conclusive but for the same face but with things turned on/off this seems to never brighten, even in direct sun.

Where this seems to brighten when just moving to a slightly lighter room.
