Apple IWatch cannot sync complications

I just downloaded the app on my macbook pro and on my Iphone and I am having a couple of issues:

  1. Instructions in the second step say to sync to the Photo Album not the Photos on the IWatch.

I have no option for Photo Albums on the IWatch! I went ahead and synced to photos.

  1. In the OSX application on the Mac I can create a watch face with a photo and sync to the IWatch however if I create a watch with a complication (simple digital display) I can’t sync to the iwatch (no device found).

  2. If I go into setting to set the type of watch I have there is no option for the Apple IWatch.

Does this application support anything other than simple image overlays and predefined watches for the Apple IWatch environment?

Hi!

Unfortunately Apple Watch only supports very basic custom watch faces today. The only item you can customize is the background image in the photo and photo album watch faces.

Thanks for your reply. I was surprised that the full app was available for the mac with no mention that the iwatch was not supported for anything other than image files. In addition there were no relevant error messages when trying to upload to an iwatch other than device not found, it should say device not supported.
