Apple Watch 8 needs to be tested, premium faces do NOT update

I am done troubleshooting. This issue has persisted for over a year.

I have facer premium and EVERY premium Facer watch face that I download to use on my Apple Watch 8 never updates. Whoever is doing “quality control” for your premium faces needs to do a better job, or change their methods, because literally no premium watch faces update on my Apple Watch series 8 on multiple watchOS versions, old and updated.

This isn’t a post for someone to troubleshoot, this is a post for Facer to look into their quality control and to fix the issues that have persisted for over 1 year. I’ve been through the whole troubleshooting thing and have gone through every possible solution that support has told me to do in the past as well as the FAQ. There is no solution that will solve the issue on my end, it is a Facer issue that needs to be addressed on their end and how the information updates on WatchOS, because it does not update appropriately.

I have paid for premium and have not received the service that I have paid for. I requested a refund from Apple and Facer multiple times and neither were able to fulfill it, just offers for more broken Facer subscription, a slap in the face essentially. Facer now more than ever feels like a scam as I have never received the full benefit of premium watch faces since they have never updated, and when it does update, it takes days to weeks to happen.

Watch OS 11.2 (occured on older versions as well)
iPhone 14, iOS 18 (previously used iPhone 12)

Facer isn’t a “scam”. Apple only allows complications to be updated every 15 mins.

Sure, maybe, but if it’s Saturday, and my watch says it’s Wednesday with the wrong weather etc. and that never changes after a year through troubleshooting and support, that’s far longer than 15 mins, and I consider that a scam when I do not get what I paid for, and I have not received a refund. So if it’s not a scam, then fix my f**king watch faces!

Convenient too that you say it’s “not a scam”, but ignore literally everything else I said.

Hi weird I have an apple watch 8 and all free and paid functions have you updated your application? and you accepted all the authorizations?

Well it definitely shouldn’t be doing that.

I can’t comment on your interactions with Facer or the subscription so i didn’t reply to that. I also find it hard to believe that so many other people seem to be able to use the faces. Maybe your phone and watch aren’t talking to each other correctly? I don’t know for sure because I don’t have a series 8 and can’t test it for you.
