Hello everybody,
I would like to ask for clarification, how is Apple watch series compatibility defined.
Is it set manually, or is it automated? Which features are supported by which series, or does it not matter?

I guess certain Complications ask to be on a Series 7 otherwise NOP .
We need a Cadre of Apple users to contribute here . There certainly seem to be a few Designers .

As far as I can tell it’s only that one watch face pattern that is restricted to series 7.
There also appears to be no series 7 users on Facer or at least very few. I have two Apple watch faces that used that pattern and I have a combined total of zero syncs on them.

From what I have understood from seeing different peoples comments, most complications do work on Series 7 as long as they have the latest software installed.

Thank you guys for replies. I was just curious, which feature to omit, to get rid of that limitation. @russellcresser it is wind direction (nice logo btw 
). And this one got 5 downloads so far.

I don’t believe it’s anything that you put into the Modular Duo pattern. It is the pattern itself that is causing the series 7 only statement. I just published a blank version of the Modular Duo with no changes just the pattern only and this is a screenshot of the published face. You will notice that Compatible with Series 7 Only is displayed. BTW I have deleted the face already, the only evidence is the screenshot.

Thanks for that experiment you saved me the try. Would be nice if there was warning at selecting the template and before playing, rather than discovering at publishing.

Oh Well that is a good test . Very Smart I was trying to find something in the Manual . He He .
Interesting, I think my best apple face is on that template and only has a couple of syncs on it. Meanwhile my other apple faces have tons. That may explain it.

Getting a bit of a Manual going here Guys . Good Job.
I also think, my best face got few sync. But which is not best for me got huge sync. Really its public choices which we cant control.

@nobel.mixed. There is quite a bit of luck involved as well. The whole Fresh Faces is a bit of a lottery. You can get pushed arround there by a Crowd of low effort jobs. You will find also there is certain times of the week and time of day. I like to catch the evening Japan as I have a Follower there.
