Appreciation, Feedback, and a Short Pause

After three months of actively contributing to Facer as a free member, putting in professional time, care, and creative energy, I’ve decided to take a short break.

The platform has a solid foundation and a lot to offer, but I’ve experienced the editor as somewhat slow, with a few bugs and overdue updates. The community includes some wonderful and creative members (often not Pro users), but overall it feels rather quiet. And from the Facer team itself, I personally missed a bit of warmth or community spirit, it feels more commercially driven, and I believe free contributors could be recognized a little more.

This isn’t meant as harsh criticism, just an honest reflection from someone who enjoys the platform and sees the value of its community. Facer has come a long way, and I truly hope it continues to evolve, with more space and appreciation for all kinds of creators.

I’ll be back in about ten days, hopefully with fresh energy and maybe even some new conversations sparked by this message.

Your good review sums things up nicely. Thank you for the feedback. It may seem a bit slow here compared with other communities (I’m a mod at one that literally flies.) but as I’ve said before, you get out of it what you put into it. I am sure that Staff priority has been the new Samsung watches so it’s been “all hands on deck” for working on that while other areas may need more attention. I am sorry to see anyone take a break from here. Perhaps when you return there will be a new moderator here who can handle any issues in a more timely manner. I look forward to seeing you return someday.

Regards,
Linlay
