Arabic Font Problem

I managed to change the days of the week by this formula to make them appear in Arabic:

$#DOW#=0?الأحد:$$#DOW#=1?الاثنين:$$#DOW#=2?الثلاثاء:$$#DOW#=3?الأربعاء:$$#DOW#=4?الخميس:$$#DOW#=5?الجمعة:$$#DOW#=6?السبت:$

However, when I pick a custom TrueType font, the date is displayed in strange characters.

Is there a way to solve this?

Welcome to the community o/

The issue is likely the font you chose doesn’t have the characters you’re using. The only solution in this case is to find a font whose author has gone through the work of also creating the Arabic characters.

I tried a unicode arabic font but it didn’t work too. thanks anyways for your reply
