This face was initially published in a 12hr version. It has been the most popular B# premium design, and I’ve frequently been asked for a 24hr version. So here it is!
The time is read by the mechanical digital wheels. You can choose to cover the dial with a sleek minimal brushed metal look or a tinted glass dial that still allows a view of the full wheels below. Or you can choose a hybrid face display which displays essential smart watch info on the digital screens while keeping a window view of the mechanical time wheels. There are 6 color choices for the digital screens.
***make sure you check the watch guide pics for TAP instructions and more info.
Really nicely done @kvansant . I love these rotating faces as I’ve done a few too. Your shading and shadows are top notch!
I’d like to challenge you to combine the 12 and 24 hour versions into one face, it should be fairly straight forward. Feel free to look at the text expressions in the H1s (a-l) and H10s (a-e) lines in this face for the hours 1s and hours 10s digits for how to do it (inspection is open). You just need to add some conditional orbital expressions and rotation to align with your dials for the X & Y coordinates & rotation feilds, which you probably already have done.
thanks Brad, this face of yours is really cool too!
It’s been my habit in the past to cram as many options into one face as I can. For this one I decided to give the 24hr version it’s own space in the catalogue though. When it’s just a simple digital display, sure 12/24 is always an included option. But this one since the time is all mechanical wheels which had to be made. I consider this to be two different models. And my sense is that the vast majority of the users will want one or the other, not both.
well, it’s not a silly suggestion, because it could be done with a tap action. (unless I used up all 6 on this face already). I’m just making the executive decision not to do it that way
