Bad weather temperature display

Hello.
Does anyone know why the facer shows me a different temperature than the original samsung watch faces and weather?
All the watch faces on Facer do this to me.

My guess they use different weather data sources, which may also rely on different weather station in your vicinity. On top of that, in my experience, Facer updating the weather info was not terrible, but lets say randomly unreliable, so simply if the two sources update to different times, may also give different results.
Openweathermap (which Facer uses) has readings from two different stations with that name, on distant locations, which give pretty different data

FACER gets weather from Openweather maybe your watch gets it from somewhere else. Also Openweather uses its closest weather station so that given may not be ‘local’ weather.

Sad story. When it’s actually -4 outside and my watch shows 5 degrees through Facer. Another useless thing.

Facer uses OpenWeather and Samsung uses The Weather Channel. Neither one of them are known for being overly accurate on the weather.

I understand the difference of one or two degrees but the difference of ten degrees is already too much for my taste. Moreover, I am not sure but before the update of wear OS it was quite fine, the differences were as I wrote 1 to 2 degrees.
I tried everything, permissions in the application, restarting the watch and the phone, even uninstalling and installing the facer both in the watch and in the phone. It did not help. The greater the frost, the greater the heat the watch shows me.

This is just too much.

OK so I use a Tasker routine to start and close OpenWeather with phone start. That seems to do the job

And what will you achieve by doing this?

It should force the weather data to update but nothing for sure nobody knows where or why it glitches or what do the android apps in background

You can’t win sometimes. The Samsung weather app on my watch is showing a balmy 9C - my facer watchface shows 1C and my outside thermometer shows 1C - oh and it’s showing

More proof that you can’t trust anyone, including The Weather Channel. Now let me drive you crazy. My phone has The Weather Channel and OpenWeather apps on it. For my town it is showing on both of them that it’s 40°F 4.4°C, BUT my watch running Facer is showing 39°F or 3.8°C. So OpenWeather is not agreeing with itself on temperature at my house. And for even more fun I have an app that came with my second phone called 1Weather. It says it’s 47°F or 8.3°C, which proves that all weather people are LIARS!:joy::rofl:

Like UK Bus time apps. You can have as many as you want, they all show different information and none match the actual.

It’s a mess.

My dad actually saw air traffic controllers at an RAF base do that when advising on landing conditions rather than relying on reports

Cloudy to overcast in places, depending on where.

So the day before yesterday, the application was updated and it seems that things have improved a bit.

But you’re definitely not using a VPN? or changing location in any way?
