Will my watchface fail to publish if i use non WFS tags such as #WND#.,or, will it use some sort of ‘default’ and still publish for legacy watches. I started tomake a watchface based on wind speed and direction and i thought i better ask first

You can publish the watch for the legacy watches, no problem.

sorry to hijack like this but I feel SOOOO stupid right now, for 30 minutes I have been trying to start a new topic here and can’t for the life of me find a way on here to do it. I see no button or whatever anywhere to post a topic. I am not actually this dumb, at least I didn’t think so?

If you select the Category you want your Topic to be in, then you should see the option to create a new Topic at the top: it’s top right here on my mobile phone.
Oh, and welcome to the Community, this is THE best place on the internet for Smartwatch Face creating, using, and DEFINITELY has the best support network on the planet…just remember to always have fun

I have tried mobile and my desktop I do not see ANY create new topic option. All I can do is sort by latest, new, unread, or top. it’s too early to be this frustrated.

Then I am not sure sorry, but it could possibly be that you have only just joined here today and may need to be here longer: might be a “bot protection” thing, I honestly don’t know sorry 
As you can see from my screenshot, the new topic creation is definitely there (I’ve been here years) -

cant post a screenshot either. I do not have that new topic button in your screen shot. I guess this place isn’t going to be much help for me now.
I am not sure, but could be that new joiners are restricted for a certain time. We’ve seen spammers join the community opening topics and posting rubbish in the past. Facer had to put to put in some guardrails.

Yeah I noticed my name is shadowed, so that must be it. Would you have any idea why after my GW6 updated to OS6 last night I can no longer preview any watch faces before purchasing? The purchase button only allows me to buy it now, I cant hold it to preview like I could before. Most of my past purchases are no longer compatible now so I need to buy some new ones.
This is a bit of a mantra of mine - please read the posts here working backwards. Most of the questions a new user has have already been answered at least once sometimes many times!
Check things here first and if you’re still stuck ask here and you will get an answer. Most importantly welcome and have fun

Thanks for the reply, I have spent 3hrs trying to find an answer to this problem and although this forum has an enormous amount of information, I can’t seem to find anything related to my issue. I have been using Facer for over 4 years, until now I never had a need to create an account here at this community.
On my PC on the community web page and immediately under my logo and menu button (3 horizontal lines) top right is a button ‘New topic’
Thank you for the response, I was able to post new topic after an hour or so. It definitely was not protection since I had just signed up.
