Best Heart Rate Monitors | Expert advice to choose

I honestly wasn’t planning to buy a heart rate monitor anytime soon, but lately I’ve been taking my workouts more seriously and realized my current tracking setup just isn’t very reliable.
The readings feel inconsistent, sometimes lag during workouts, and it’s hard to trust the data.

While looking through different options online, I ended up shortlisting two heart rate monitors that seem to be getting a lot of attention.
Still not sure if they’re genuinely accurate or just getting hyped:

Garmin heart rate monitor

Polar heart rate monitor
https://www.amazon.com/Polar-Heart-Rate-Monitor-Women/dp/B07PM54P4N?th=1

My requirements are pretty straightforward:

  • Accurate and consistent heart rate tracking
  • Comfortable to wear during long workouts
  • Durable build for daily use

If anyone here has tried these or has real-world experience, please share your thoughts.
I’d really appreciate some guidance before I make a final decision.

Thanks!
