Both are relatively easy . Your question is very open .
You would have two layers with the red box . On Red one Grey or whatever . Red being the upper on in the list . Then put this Formula in the Opacity Field .

Say if you wanted to move Mario 222 Pixels . You would apply this to the X Pos Field of the image Assumes that Mario is a separate image from the background . 2
222 is the distanc you want the image to travel 33 is the start position .
(33+(((#ZSC#)/10000)*222))
