Copyright broken in name

I’m sure you could use the word shooter or looter unless the movie “shooter” is looking to copyright strike us facemakers lol. Pretty sure you can use most words as long as they’re not brands. Cept for like “oyster” which somehow is copyrighted ha!

It’s so rubbish, that there are automatic deletions, based on even just a word, though Halo is a game, it’s also one of those biblical reference to angelic beings, there needs to be a better system.

There are many words on the banned list meanwhile, that are just actual common terms which brands registered as trade marks. I do not like it either, but it is like that, they are allowed to do so by copyright law. And like Mike wrote, we mortals can do little about it.

What should matter is the context, whether the word was used as reference to the trade mark, or to its original everyday word meaning. This is hard task for a bot to separate and, to make it easier and be on the “safe side”, they are rather overdoing, than letting slip.
