Dear gals and guys, would somebody be so kind as to post/send/whatever an editable Apple Watch face here, in the now legendary *.watchface file format?
My nephew, goddess bless him, wants to have some of my rather crude attempts at watch face design on his Apple Watch. Which means I gotta get going on the obviously non-editable parts (analogue and digital default themes in Creator), too.
I’ve read somewhere here in this great forum, that one has to export the respective *.watchface file from the Watch Companion App, and import it into creator.
At least this is all info I was able to extract from this forum, here. If I’m wrong, and the attempt is futile anyway, please forget this post Then he will get a WearOS forhis next birthday. But I’d rather try and fail at the Apple attempt
I have not found a way to import other file formats.
Best is to stick to the available Apple templates, then you are sure it works. Well, compatibility is an issue, The Modulo Duo, for example, does not work on SE and series 6. Anyway, you’ll have to start from scratch, it is probably easier.
But if you want to move away from those templates and import, then, see here:
You will also find that Apple is very limiting on what you can do. You need to read this first before you try to make any Apple watchfaces. Limitations of Apple Watch
