I’ve been debugging some of my watch faces that Creator says are WFF compatible, but fail to publish to WFF. I found that exponents are no longer supported.
For example, for years I have been using use say
10**2
for “10^2”. WFF fails with this and you must use
10*10
Or if you have been using
10**3
for
10^3
, you now have to use
10*10*10
.
I’ve also been using square roots for years as say
10**(0.5)
but now you have to use
sqrt(10)
Perhaps this will be usefull info for some folks out there who are failing in their WFF exports, and for @Facer_Official in their backend translation.
Now on to the monumental task of updating over 300 watch faces… Ugh…
Just keep eliminating elements one by one until only one element causes the error. Then looked at the expressions within that element for something that is unusual.
Unfortunately, there are lots of other WFF translation issues that I’m going to have to do this with as well. I was dumb enough to not pay attention and I let my watch update to UI8, so this forces the debugging.
