Facer Creator not working On Apple MAC

Is anyone else having an issue? It stopped working for me last night and I checked this morning and it still isn’t working. My designs show up but when I try to edit one it just keeps loading …

Are you on an Apple MAC . Try changing your Browser . I think Safari has an Issue with Facer Creator . I use Creator Beta on Windows . Mostly never a problem .

Im on a mac, try the Chrome browser.

I’m having the same problem if I click edit it just loads round and round. It doesn’t matter if it is a draft or live the same problem. I eventually need to restart the program to do anything. I’m also on a Mac and using a Chrome browser right now. I’ll test Windows later I don’t have it with me right now.

I actually submitted a ticket regarding this issue of Creator not working with Safari. I won’t hold my breath for an answer though…I’ll just use Chrome instead.

Deleted and reinstalled the app. Same problem. Restarted chrome browser. I can now use the edit button without the freezing problem. However, now the background or text is randomly disappearing part of the time. I’m not sure what triggers it and sometimes it doesn’t happen at all. I can look back on the desktop app and everything is fine. So it is just the view from my chrome browser but the other problem was solved by restarting the chrome browser and using it instead of the desktop app.

Chrome is working so something must have broken on the Safari side. Although the Mac app doesn’t work either.

Yes, Safari and Creator App no longer work for me on MAC. Takes for ever to load. Now using Firefox, with Chrome I do not see the fonts I upload. What a drag.

I question Facer’s release management…

Chrome isn’t working for me either now. It looks like it is working when I upload it but then I get the you did not upload any photos error when I try to sync it. Firefox is working but it seems to be getting slower.

Excuse me . I actually know very little about MACs . I use Chrome on Windows because
I also use Gmail . Is it possible to use the MS Windows Browser on a MAC .

It is worth a Shot . Let us know how it goes .

It is working on Microsoft edge on mac about the same speed as firefox. I got an email back from support asking me to retest the browsers I had problems with so maybe a change was made. I’ll do some tests and see if anything has changed.

Please Let us Know here as Well .

OK I did some quick testing to send a note back to them. As of right now this is what I got.
Working:
Firefox
Microsoft Edge
Google Chrome
Arc browser (a chromium based browser) I read that it should now be available for windows now irrelevant to the main subject I’m just a fan.

Not working
Safari
Downloadable app on my MacBook

I cannot publish anything from Safari or the facer app it will go in draft but just keep acting like it is loading or try to save until I get a “watchface save error please try again”

If anyone else who was having problems wants to test their computer leave the report here and I will pass it onto support now that I have someone emailing me.

Please Uninstall that Downloadable App . It is the Biggest Bit of Bloatware I have ever seen in my life . It is unusable with the WiFi off, Apart from the Watch files being saved to the server . I would not mind betting that after you have got rid of that and cleared all the cookies and leaks . Safari will Miraculously start running Creator properly .
Well done for the Research . That Makes this Topic a Resource if not a Tutorial .
Good job. Not seen ARC . We could always try UBUNTU .

MacOS
Safari - Interface hangs. Will occasionally work when CTRL+R but unable to save.
Firefox - Interface slow and buggy. Sweeping hand animation glitchy in creator. (frame rate?)
Chrome - Same as Firefox - slow and buggy.
DDG - Same as Safari. Hangs.

Never had trouble on my Mac/Safari for as long as I have used Facer. Only in the last month or so has it stopped working in Safari entirely. Chrome still functional but laggy.

Honestly, pretty embarrassing Facer. I’m sure you have had lots of support inquiries and tickets, from myself included.

Yet, zero response and not even a general acknowledgement about the issue anywhere on the site or here in the community.

Par for the course when it comes to service anywhere these days, but always happy to take my money.
