Facer creator watch faces showing unavailable

Within the last week, any watch face I make in creator pro has been showing unavailable to sync.

Old faces sync no problem, but new ones, forget about it.

I tried duplicating, no luck. Uninstalled and reinstalled both phone and watch app, no luck. Won’t sync from website either.

Any face I edit also becomes unavailable.

Does not seem that my watch or phone has updated recently. I contacted facer support, no response. I am just getting very frustrated.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I just checked one that I finished making today. It synced just fine to my test watch from the creator page. It might take a little while to hear back from Facer on your request for help. I usually get a response within a couple days or so, depending on how busy they are. The automated response should have included a ticket number. If you contact them again make sure you include that number so they will know that it’s not a new request.

Try going to the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone and choose a stock face, then let it load. Afterwards go back and choose Facer again, then try to sync.

Yup, I’m just now suffering this same fate, can’t sync anything I’ve put together.

I notice that the recent companion app update number includes a reference to Legacy . It seems to me that going forward the companion apps for the newer watches will be different . I note that the Tizen watch I have does not update the companion app any more . My guess is they are having some isdues on the server getting ready for WOS6 . Guys on FB are talking about the same Issue . I will do a test and get back .

thomasfmal, Thank you for the suggestion.

I have tried that numerous times and it did not work.

On the phone app, it shows unavailable and won’t even let me click the sync button.

On the computer creator page, it allows me to save them, but when I hit the sync button on there, it just processes for about 5 minutes and then give me an error.

I tested it on my end and I’m experiencing the same issue, new faces aren’t syncing.
Could be due to a recent update or some other change.

I always recommend following the good old TAP flow: Test → Acceptance → Production.
But in reality, it often turns into: Production → Oops → Fix mode (quick… or not so quick).

Same issue as you have right now . No sync from creator . I am doing more tests . Always works from the phone . I got your published face .

I think there was an update recently. I’m not sure if this sync issue is related, but Facer Staff is aware of this discussion.
Editing to add that I can sync old and new faces from the app and computer (Firefox) but Edge on computer has not been responding this week.

@Gecks70 . I can get my test on my watch Via the phone app no problem . I often do that any way when things get sticky on creator .
This is from the Non Beta Creator . I use Beta most of the time and it did the same .

I’ve been seeing lately that when you sync a face from the creator page it just sits there for a minute and then finally goes through to my watch. It wasn’t doing this before. It gets annoying really quick when trying to test faces while creating them.

Make sure when you send your support requests that you include the link to the watch face.

Can’t sync from phone neither because it shows as unavailable at the sync button.

Ok, figured something out. Apparently I hit the join beta from the Google play facer app install page after I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, which joins the beta for the phone app only.

This does not affect my beta status on creator, just the phone app.

After leaving the beta on the phone app, it now allows me to sync from my phone.

Nevermind, spoke too soon. Eventhough it allowed me to sync from my phone faces I created before I left the beta on the phone app, I tried editing one, saving it, and syncing it.

However, the newly edited one has the same problem. It wont sync from the creator page and is showing unavailable from the phone app. Hmm

Someone screwed something up. It still taking longer than usual to send a face to my watch. It was working just fine. If it’s not broke don’t fix it!

The last face I did, when I synced it to my watch it sat there doing this for at least 3 minutes before it even went to my watch.
