Facer watch preview and interactive buttons broken (ID: 118883)

Hey thanks for Flagging that up . I have always used Beta . I always feel it is part of the Contribution . But Yes the Pop Up is annoying . I have not checked those revision numbers for a while . Yes it would be good if what’s new was updated . But like the rest of the Community it is down to the Contributors I think .

You’d think that Facer Support would have created a support note by now on the community site to inform all users of the current platform issues and the roadmap to fixing it?
This continued silence from the platform owners is very strange. We are human, we all make mistakes, but at least communicate with your community to restore some faith!

Staff is aware and has been working on the issue. Maybe that is why they don’t have time to reply to support tickets or inform the community here.
In my opinion if they published a roadmap people would be stuffing the Little Labs Inbox with comments about what should be priority.

Sometimes we do not need roadmap, just a simple (but “official”) notice whether topic is a bug, that is worked on, or its intentional change to accept, would calm the imagination and reduce reporting same thing over and over.

The very least they should do (as a common curtesy) is to communicate that Facer has a problem and what the problem is. And of course that they are striving to fix it!

I’m curious. I know the F Creator page is available in Beta form. A good thing. But the other processes, as previewing faces on the web, was that also included. I assume not, because this issue was not reported - again I assume because we don’t have access to this issues list.

I worked for a big company in earlier days. Did application, process and project management on the financial departement. I learned you have to set up a complete test environment and you have to test everything, especially the major processes. And make sure you include in those test some key users also from the forum. Add to that a real communication plan and you have created the best premises for a up-to-value upgrade. Let’s learn from this.

I agree, this Forum is powerful testing tool.

We spot many errors/bugs and have valid ideas how to make things better.

I’m surprised Facer is not using us / not listening.

They are listening. Just consider the partners who participate here frequently to be liaisons. In many cases issues have already been reported by partners in various time zones who have been testing their designs or have heard from members via individual watch face comments.

Good for you man. Seems like so many things no one wants to mention here for fear of some kind of repercussions like never becoming a partner, although most of us know that ain’t happening anyway. It’s there, and everyone wants to say it - but we don’t.

Nice to see Facer have restored the Time Machine on web browser preview. Hopefully the Day/Night toggle won’t be too far behind now. Thank you @Facer_Official !
