In the Samsung app the Facer based faces show that there is an update available. However, after clicking on update and agreeing to the terms, the face will fail to update.
Sorry I can’t help you. I have a Samsung watch/phone but I have never seen what you describe. Hopefully someone else will chime in with some advise. While you are waiting you could also submit a request to the official Facer help system:
