Fossil Gen 6 stuck loading Facer faces

I’ve got a fossil watch that I reaaally like.
But the last several days when I change faces it gets stuck, and I have to reset the watch and re-pair with the phone.
The existing fossil faces load instantly, but the Facer faces not so much. Which bums me out… it’s very time consuming to reboot and reset… and the time that I’ve already burned on trying to solve this, is not time I had to spare.
Anybody have any thoughts?

Yeah. Frustrating. I can only talk for myself and my little Galaxy Active. I generally have only 2 Faces on my watch to keep memory free. One is a Facer Face and the other is a Samsung . Sometimes I have to go Native and load the Samsung then go back to my Facer Face that is quite a memory load and has a lot of Open Weather and other stuff on it. Some Faces are very simple and can load quickly. Some are deceptively complex under the Bonnet ( Hood ) and need more elbow room in memory.
Sorry that is all I can recommend.
Stick with it.

I’ve been having that problem with both my Galaxy 4’s and my Fossil Carlyle gen 5. It always seems to get stuck in the middle of the face change. For me the GW4’s take around a minute to finish loading and the Fossil around 30 seconds. Sometimes I have to try to resync it from the phone or the webpage and that gives it enough kick to finish syncing. I haven’t had to do anything other than that. This has been going on for me for over two weeks now. I wonder if @Facer_Official could shed some light on this for us?

Describes my problem pretty well…
Though an old, less complex face loaded ok…

(I almost picked up the Fossil Carlyle, but couldn’t find one locally…)

Switching to less complex faces solved the problem, at least for today. It’s a little puzzling why a brand new watch would have any problems with memory.
However, I AM pleased that at least short term, there’s a workaround.
I’ve reaaally enjoyed the Facer community, and getting to choose very cool watch faces as often as I like. Thus, I’d be reaaally bummed if I had to give it up because of technical problems…

If you look at the Native faces to your watch you will see they are relatively simple . Some of the HD Publications on Facer Have 300 layers . I regularly make stuff that fills the memory and have to go back and make a LITE version . You will see that most of the Premium Designers make Quite simple Watches and concentrate on the Beautiful Graphics .
