-Original Galaxy Watch 46mm
-New iPhone 16
-Worked flawless on my iPhone Xr for years
-Upgraded iPhone today.
-Trying to get the watch “paired” with new phone
having tremendous difficulty.
Anyone have a tried and true method of getting the
watch paired to my new phone?
Sorry cannot help. I have a iPhone 14, works for me.
But just to note: You cannot install you watch from scratch using an iPhone. It will have to be an android phone (an android pad will not work either).
Hi tom
I recognize your name from over the years.
You’re one of the formula geniuses I found to implement
things I wanted to do with my faces.
iPhone 14 is close enough to mine, should be same.
Can you expound on how you accomplished this. Which watch do you have that you got installed on your 14? I have Galaxy Watch 46mm(the original Galaxy Watch).
It worked perfect and installed without Android on my iPhone Xr(iphone 10)
Pairing is where I’m hitting roadblock. I noticed on my iPhone Xr that there were always
2 entries in the Bluetooth connection area listings. On the new iPhone 16 there is only
I can get to a pairing prompt on the phone and the watch, but when I click ‘Pair’,
the watch says finish on your phone and the phone says ‘Connected’ for like 1 second, then disconnects, and never reconnects by rebooting watch or phone.
My watch, Samsung Galaxy6, is not connect via bluetooth.
To connect the watch to my iPhone, on the iPhone Facer App I select my watch, and on the watch itself I tap 5 times to display the QR code. Then on the Facer App I scan that code. That’s all it is.
To sync watch faces I do this via WiFi not bluetooth.
