Galaxy Watch 6 Classic BT on One UI 6

Tuning via wifi had a problem before, it was constantly disconnecting from WFS. There were a few tips on how to do it, like leaving the watch on the charger and it shouldn’t disconnect. Even the pairing itself is a pain in the ass. Tyzen was the gold in this…

I’m starting to think it may be port blocking on the wifi router I have no access to. The Fossil gets a pairing port one digit shorter though wifi port is in same range. Unfortunately I can’t use other hotspots without breaking a bunch of other stuff. May be getting a free sim for a mobile hotspot in a couple of weeks so shall wait and see.

I don’t think it will help, it’s set to automatically turn off wifi when it’s not connected. With Tizen, when you turned on wifi, it was on even when it wasn’t connected. WearOS sucks at this. I just have the watch connected via BT so wifi disconnects. That’s why they recommend keeping the watch on the charger, BT off so wifi stays active.

Worked fine on the Fossil, once paired. I did do the battery always on while charging to get there and was using that on the GW6. I know it had a wifi at point of pair attempt. If you knew the loopholes and hotspot chains I have had to use to bypass the content blocking on the wifi here…
The echo won’t even connect to that wifi. It’s on the hotspot of an old Note 10 that is connected to the wifi.

I’ve never had the need to turn on any blocking of IP addresses and other strings. So I don’t know these problems. I’m writing about the problem of the watch itself with Wear OS.

I am in supported accommodation so have no control over the wifi.
Couldn’t get any Android device newer than 9 to connect to the internet for 9 months until I figured it was because I was using a custom DNS for ad blocking. Custom DNS was introduced in 10 so all my devices after that carried the setting over but it could not be applied to the Pixel2.
Niche problem that I am techie enough to set that on my phone but have no access to the wifi. Explains the same issue in Libraries though.
