Brilliant well done . Over here we have a Shop called CEX . Thier A grad stock is just shop soiled I guess . Never a scratch on them and battery is slwsys good . Enjoy your Watch and your Making .
I got my GW6 second user and immediately put a cover with a built in screen protector on it. It makes the watch look a little more bulky but not unduly so, plus after a few months, the cover has got a little bashed giving it that rugged look. Smug face though knowing the watch underneath should still be pristine!
I had a TPU cover on my Active . So I got quite a good trade in pruce it was spotless . A little while ago now .
I have a stuck on Bezel, which comes off real easy with no damage, and a different strap on my GW4 Classic and love how it looks -
Samsung has finally solved the mystery surrounding the GW 8 models. They’ve appeared for pre-order on the official Samsung website.
Samsung Galaxy Watch8
As for me, I skipped the 7 and will also skip the 8. Reason? Quick:
- It’s irreparably ugly.
- Still no certainty about compatibility with WF-creating programs, like Facer and others.
- Exorbitant price, even though it will be lower in a few months.
So… I’m sticking with my Watch 6 Classic. For me, it’s the best of all the Samsung smartwatches.
Hi Friend . We can make Faces on WFS . I have made my own for GW7 . I presume GW8 will be the same . But as you say I am not sure if 3rd Part Platforms are running yet . Surprisingly enough you can get Faces from the Google store . I am working towards putting some faces on TIMEFLIK which used to be Mr Time . They have still not Launched yet . Supposed to be mid July but it has been delayed Surprisingly .
Sadly those watches have gone Squgly to accommodate a bigger cell . I like my GW7 .
Good to hear from you Jack .
.
Hi @russellcresser Russel, I’m glad to hear from you too. WFS? I absolutely have no desire to learn a new system to please Google and Samsung. Squgly to accommodate a bigger cell? Hmm, the battery is just slightly bigger. I don’t think there was any need for that awful shape.
You know what I say? Better this way, I’ll stick with the 6 and save some money.
WFS = Watch Face Studio . Samsungs Platform . Android Studio is a Platform you can use to make WFF ( Watch Fave Format ) faces on but it is all Code there is no GUI . ( Graphic User Interface ) . WFS do their best to discourage the use of TAG formulas but the have them and leave a little space where you can put them . But they make the times a bit Glitchy to give us a hard time . They would rather it was used with all the Presets . They don’t really want it as a place where creatives express themselves . Challenge accepted .
It has a sticky substance yes, easy to stick on and take off.
Good for Protection for sure .
When removing the sticky ring does it leave any of the sticky substance on the existing watch bezel?
I’ve only removed one before, before I sold my original GW, and as far as I remember no, it didn’t leave any residue on the Watch, or very minimal, easy to wipe off.
Ok - thanks for the info - it’s set my mind at rest to get an answer from someone who has experience of fitting/removing one:)
Any residue can be wiped away with the help of some zero solvent oil like Baby oil . Just a touch on Kitchen roll . Do not use Toilet roll it is not strong enough and make a mess . I always have an old Tooth brush standing by for that sort of job in case there are bits in crevices . I used a TPU cover on my Active for a couple of years . It was spotless when I took it in for Part exchange .
