Apparently the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is out now, which has brought us all an Update for older Samsung Watches as well as Phones, including my GW4 Classic AND my Samsung Galaxy S24 FE

Wear OS Version is still 5 but at the top of those settings it says “One UI Version 6.0 Watch”

I got this update the other day on my watch 6, OS version still says 5 but UI version is 6.
Not seen a thing about the watch 8, if it is what’s in the picture then I’ll pass. That looks ugly!

If I am not mistaken, the next update to match the Galaxy watch 8 will bring us One UI version 7 and Wear OS 6. That is if our watches qualify for both or either of them. I’m pretty sure my 7 Ultra and 6 Classic will, but I’m not sure about my 5 Pro.

It seems like a design from 10 years ago, when you compare it with the clean, modern design of the Watch 6, it looks a very retrograde step.

They make it Squareish to accomodate a Bigger Cell but end up making is Squggly .

LOL, I was really surprised when I’ve noticed that my employee drinks water when watch tells him to drink.
So, my guess is: many, many people.
Six million years of human evolution vs. a watch app and watch wins…

I know that is possible, but I’ve never had a need for electronics to remind me to drink fluids.

If you want an accurate calorie count the app also wants to know what you have eaten in detail .

Did you get a New One ? I got my GW4 second user and it was starting to need 2 charges a day due to the development syncing . I got a second user GW5Pro . The raised Bezel is a brilliant Idea . My wife has an FE and the lense Edge is very vulnerable . We put a new temperd glass on regularly . The raised bezel on mine is getting quite rugged looking . GW5pro gets my Vote .

Yes - new, boxed and sealed- ok, i got it a few month’s back now from a shop adverising on Google. Titanium grey - love it 2 1/2 days battery.
I was thinking about getting a bezel for it but I don’t like the idea of glueing it on. A local electrical chain store was also selling them as end of line, but the online shop was cheaper still.
