Hi guys, I was wondering if sequences which are not in the visible area of the watch still play or use less resource?
I can move a sequence to -100,000 for example would that be better for performance than -300? Or is now going to have to load everywhere in-between the visible watch face and -100,000?
Or can I just make the Gif really small and make it larger when its needed? To save performance?
Yeah some shrink stuff to nothing . I think while there is maths to be done . Sending anything off screen will make little difference to the overhead . The thing that uses the most power is the lit pixels then data transfers sounds could use some but we are not going to do much of that until we become Partners .
Thank you @russellcresser I will just shrink them and expand them when needed.
That should let me have lots of looping sequences that take up less resource then having them open offscreen.
