Gimp security flaw

This article mentions Gimp and a major security flaw. There are many mentions in the community about users using Gimp so I thought i would mention the article here.

Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Edge are patched for a big security vulnerability - The Verge.

For those who don’t like to click external links the article is in today’s ‘The Verge’

It reads that “the vulnerability is linked to code used to render WebP images”
I will search more when I come home and will comfort myself, that I wasnt using any .webp images (at least not recently).

I usually open .webp images in “MS paint” then save them as .png! before using the images.
