[Help] Watch Faces Not Appearing in Search

Hey Support

All of my watchfaces are not coming up when I search for them. None of them has a yellow globe next to them as I read in this forum. Some of my faces are already over a month old. Could you please look into this?

Hi there!

Are you missing specific ones? I see some of your Vegas ones here: Watchface search: vegas - Facer - watchfaces for WearOS & Apple Watch

here the (probably incomplete) list:

I still have the same issue. It seems that when a searchterm is popular like “Star Wars” it is not pulling up any mine. What would be the reason for that? If I search the below face with"Star Wars", which is my primary term, it does not show up. If I change to a term like “Trench” it does. Are there any priorities set?

Are you searching on the app (mobile) or via the web? I’ve noticed that things can take several days to be re-indexed for text based searches. Also the default sorting of results is based on popularity. If it is a new face, then likely it will be near the bottom of the results.

When I search for “Star Wars” on the website I see a couple of your designs after scrolling down through about 75-100 others. your newer animated ones (including this one) are closer to 150-200 down in the results.

@Facer_Official Poor searchability remains a serious problem.

Feature Request: Expand search to scan watch face names and tags as well as descriptions.

Current text search appears to scan only watch face descriptions, while ignoring watch face names and tags. For instance, text search for “animated autumn” does not bring up Shane’s Animated Autumn watch face. Such behavior just doesn’t make any sense. I’ve been double-listing my tags in my watch face descriptions because I know that search has been ignoring tags, but most people don’t and it shouldn’t be necessary to begin with. It’s really quite counterintuitive that search ignores watch face names and tags.
