it probably looks the best so far. it has exactly the effect I imagine. but the dots will be moving… they should move from right to left and still be fixed on the compass. so the resulting effect should be that the dots come from east to west.
the effect works idependetly from the dots. They can move like they want (or you want them to).
Right, so just make the image with the cut out dots move from point a to point b.
So I finally managed to put it together somehow.
Thank you @s.w for the help that was the closest to what I wanted.
One more question. the center of rotation of the layer is given or can I set it as I want? I can’t figure out how to move the dots to the center and align them so that they rotate like a compass in the same axis and not in their own.
The dots disappear very fast, maybe you want to adjust the radar image a bit. And probably reduce the speed of its enlargement.
To be honest i don’t understand your rotation idea. Do you want to turn your watch but the dots remain stable in the real world?
My watch doesn’t support compass, so i cant try.
I have already adjusted the speed as I need. I like it that way.
Yes, of course. if the dots start from the east, then when I turn around on the watch they will still be from the east. de facto with dots to give a compass, but to still move to the center of the watch after a second.
@s.w I did work on the compass stuff before I got a watch with one . If you preview the work on the App on your phone the compass will work . Most Phones have a Compass these days .
and I think as I think, the only solution I can think of is using a sequence, when the sequence itself will be set as a compass and in it the animation of the image that will animate the progress of the dots to the center, there is again the problem that the animation will be constantly repeated and will not stop when the animation reaches the middle.
You could throw a cover over it for a while in sync with your Animation Cycle .
I guess I have it now…thanks to everyone involved.
I won’t start a new topic with this watch face so I’ll ask for criticism here. And reminders. Otherwise, I especially thank @s.w for his radar variant.
Now I’ll just tweak the details.
Very interesting and cool idea!
Thank you. It’s not an original idea. There are several similar, if not identical, faces on the facer, but I wanted to make it my own.
Came out nice, happy to help.
