Thanks for the tip but I tried that earlier and it doesn’t work for me!
Plus, it specifically says ‘scan the QR code using the Facer app’, so presumably you have to somehow scan it from within the app?

All I can tell you is that I have searched the Facer app going to every link inside it. There is no QR code scanner built into the app. I am running app version number 5.1.72_106101
