How does a person make a watchface with a second hand like this one
That face is inspectable. Open it in separate window and hit the rocket icon. It opens the face in creator mode, where you can see how are the components made.
Beautiful!!!
As my friend russellcresser says: I am just standing on the shoulders of the giants…
Glad you like it.
And as petruuccios says: I’ve opened it for inspection so you can see what’s going on.
I’m having trouble getting both your watch face and the one I’m designing on the screen at the same time so I can copy and paste it
I think the goal with inspection is to learn how to do it from example so you can try to do your own version, rather than to copy/paste what others have done.
I have 2 browsers open (Edge & Chrome) with Creator open in both that way you can copy and paste BUT it’s important as @Linlay says, to learn and to this end I always paste the tag(s) into a document for later use. I then spend time on trying to understand.
You don’t even need to have 2 browsers.
I too have 2 browsers, Edge and Opera, but I only use one. Edge.
You can very well open 2 Creator sessions in the same browser and then copy and paste
You first asked how does one make this, not how to copy it.
On that I would not reply at all.
I cant open two sessions of creator in a single browser for some reason - or at least I couldn’t. I haven’t tried for a while as i have two monitors and its easy to have one browser on each - maybe after browser updates it’s ok.
Yes, I must say that is the reason I rarely open watchfaces for inspection.
Learn how to do it, don’t copy.
I’m not wanting one exactly like yours, I want mine to have the seconds in digits where you have the guy running. Designers like you that open it up for inspection gives inexperienced people like me the the hope of getting what there trying to make, thank you for opening it up. I have no idea what to change to have the seconds any help would be much appreciated again thank you
Is it me or everyone sees the lag in the seconds animation?
For me the full minute updates when the second hand is at the 6 o’clock position. I can’t see any lag at least not in the preview
