Can someone give me an idea on how things are with battery life for this design? I left the dim side pretty lit up. I read somewhere on the forum that colored pixels drain the battery level faster than standard grayscale.
Yes it is true it will drain the battery faster.
I would suggest to at least reduce the volume of color by giving some transparency.
