Improvements to the Community forum!

Hi all!

We’re excited to announce that we have rolled out improvements to the Facer Community platform today! The most notable changes are the following:

  • Improved look & feel across the board: we’re now running the latest and greatest version of our forum platform (thanks Discourse!) which brings lots of visual and functional improvements to your experience in this community.
  • Single account with www.facer.io: at last, we’ve rolled out single sign-on, which means that your regular Facer account is now used on the forum as well. This will make communicating with all users of the Facer ecosystem a lot easier and will allow us to surface features from facer.io in this forum, and vice-versa.
  • Feature voting: we’ve also added Voting to the Feature Request categories so you can let us know what you’d like to see improved/added as a top priority on Facer.

A lot of this is pretty cutting edge and therefore might have a few kinks. Do not hesitate to let us know if you’re running into issues in the comments and we’ll look into it!

@Facer_Official love the new simple combined login, but what’s happened to the history from our old community login, are you able to merge them or am I missing something?

We can merge, yes, but surprising that’s only necessary if you were using a different email address on Facer and the Facer Community. Was that the case? Feel free to email us at facer@little-labs.com to get that resolved.
