Is facer going to be compatible with the new oneplus watch?

Only @Facer_Official can answer that for sure, but the OnePlus Watch doesn’t use Google’s Wear OS platform. The OnePlus Watch uses a proprietary Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) which is similar to the software found on Amazfit’s smartwatches. So in short, Facer probably won’t support it.

WOW. No Announcement made then. When did that Pop up?
I saw the Artical on the News. It did not say when. A quick look at the Watches showed me they are Cheaper. I belive they are going to be better for Smooth scrolling because they are Real Time.

I did not notice it there until recently, then searched for it and there was a short notice about 1/2 year ago.

Facer Watch Faces Now Accessible for RTOS Smartwatches.

Maybe its the way of diversifying into something else open, when google closes their new format.

Yes. A little diversion. By all accounts it will be a winner Battery wise. @jimrwcleaver Do you have one of the watches? It will be intresting to see if Legacy Faces work OK. Or only ones since RTOS was switched on.
.
I see they have put it at the top of the list on the App .
.

I was a bit confused with the specs on the OnePlus Watch 2 .This is the Resume of the Watch OS Given by the Google AI Bot .

Yes, the OnePlus Watch 2 can run on RTOS (Real Time Operating System). The watch has two operating systems, Wear OS 4 and RTOS, and uses both to extend its battery life. The RTOS is always on and handles background tasks, calls, and notifications. When needed, the watch can switch to power-saving mode, which uses only RTOS and can provide over 12 days of battery life on a single charge. Wear OS takes over for more intensive tasks like Maps and Music.

The OnePlus Watch 2 also has two processors: the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 and the BES2700 MCU. The W5 runs Wear OS and handles power-guzzling tasks, while the BES2700 chip powers the RTOS.

I am Hoping @Facer_Official will join us on this one . If nothing Happens I will start a Topic here and there . Because the OnePlus Watch 2 goes out with two processors ruining two OS , one for each Processor . As I understand it WOS4 runs on One and RTOS runs on the other . The RTOS is claimed to be a MICRIO POWER OS . So one could presume that it only runs in AOD mode . This is me just Guessing . It will be good if Makers have a little clue so we can make stuff that will get the most out of the Models of Smart Watch that Facer Does Support .
