Issues accessing Creator

Hello,

I’ve been using Facer for several years and thought about having a go at creating my own watch face. Unfortunately I have hit a roadblock.

No matter the browser I use (Edge, Chrome, Opera, Firefox etc…), as soon as I log in to save my design and/or sync it, I’m presented with an infinite loading screen:

Tried all the obvious, clear cache, incognito / private tabs, reset browser, different networks etc… Any thoughts? Thanks.

Which PC are you using , Windows or Apple . One you have not tried is Brave . Clear the browser cache . But the real reason is Facer are changing a lot of stuff an there are a few threads here with the same issue . It will be fixed soon in my experiance . Syncing from creator to watches is fixed now .

Have you tried logging in before you try to make a watchface?

Yeah there’s a current issue being worked on, where one cannot sync your own design to your watch, but if you publish it, you’ll find that it will sync across. It’s the only way presently, I am able to do so.

Just a heads up, this has happened several times in the past. I have gotten around it by putting the links to all my watchfaces online in a webpage. I can open the webpage with the Chrome browser on my phone and have it set up to open all Facer links in the Facer app. From there I can always sync them to my watch whether Facer Creator is working or not. It does not matter then if the watchface is published or not.

Windows - Surface Pro 9 - Win 11. I’ll give Brave a go.

Yeah, unfortunately I get the same error.

Hmm OK well I’ll bear that in mind as well, thanks.

Unfortunately Brave did not work either, thanks for the suggestion though

Hello, that’s odd. Are you using the same account login that you initially registered with? Or did you set up a new account to use Creator? You may have to send Support a request to look into the issue. They have been extremely busy lately, so be patient and keep your ticket # in case you have to contact them again. https://help.facer.io/hc/en-us/requests/new

I’ve experienced this, then I go hit publish and it works…it might not be ready for publishing but some how it goes back to the point where it is saved and I can move on.

I have noticed this as well.

Morning Linlay,

Yes, this is the same account I initially registered with. I will give support a shout. Thanks.

Yes, I noticed too. Was a pain trying to test and develop a new watch face last night.
Felt like back in the day of coding, compiling, testing cycles.

For me, it is an indication that the backend is either overloaded or the compute power has issues.
